JENNA RHODY

Jenna took to the ice early like a lot of Canadian kids and was exposed to figure skating first but begged to start playing hockey in Thorsby at 6 years old. As is the case with many girls playing hockey over ringette, Jenna played with a boys’ hockey team until Pee Wee. Then she switched to a girls’ team in Warburg, called the Warburg wolves, further shifting to play her second year of Pee Wee on the Leduc girls’ team. In addition to hockey, Jenna enjoys playing basketball, competing in track and field, and hitting the slopes for snowboarding. In her limited spare time, Jenna teaches skating lessons for beginners to kids between 3 & 8 years old in Thorsby. She is an honours student in grade 8, has a soft side for animals of all sizes and considers ice cream the ultimate treat.
